Jake Lippe

Jake co-founded Center Street in 2026 after nearly a decade of investing in and advising growth-oriented businesses. Prior to Center Street, he was an investor at Charlesbank, a ~$20B AUM private equity firm based in Boston.
At Charlesbank, Jake focused on technology-enabled services and worked closely with founders and management teams on growth, M&A, and long-term value creation. He has served on the boards of companies in technology and K-12 education.
Jake began his career at Bain & Company. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in Chicago with his wife.
Brian Pegno

Brian co-founded Center Street in 2026 after nearly a decade of experience helping companies grow and investing in founder-led businesses. Prior to Center Street, he was an investor at Charlesbank, a ~$20B AUM private equity firm based in Boston, and a consultant at Bain & Company.
Brian has spent his career partnering with business and consumer services companies, focused on accelerating growth as first institutional capital. He has served on the boards of industry-leading companies across property management, marketing services, fund accounting, sports, and footwear.
Brian lives in Boston with his wife and family. A native of New York, Brian attended Duke University and received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
